The new and improved formula of MOR's Sorbet Lip Macaron will leave your lips completely moisturized. The soothing and hydrating combination is formulated with Vitamin E to nourish lips, Beeswax for healing, with a subtle shine.

The last time I discussed MOR I was trying out their Lychee Flower soap.

Unfortunately, I had an allergic reaction to it, and could not use it.
A reaction to what exactly?
I have no idea.
I've never gotten so itchy from a soap before - ever!

Does it mean I won't try something else from MOR?
Nope.
Does it mean you should be discouraged to try something from MOR?
Nope.

Listen, there are choices for a reason... Cosmetics are not one size fits all!
This lip Sorbet is fantastic!
The feel, the flavor and in covetable packaging! lol

They also support TLC for kids, which is a leading national children's charity providing immediate distraction and urgent support for sick children and their families in and out of hospital.
Anytime a company is doing right by me with ingredients, and to the community, especially children!!!!
I'm tryin it!

A VODKA lip and cheek Tint!

By Bridget Hudzik, Beauty Guru

Lip and cheek tint made from herbs in - Vodka?!
Meet herbalist Isa Brito, the brains behind Isa's Restoratives, a line of wild-crafted organic concoctions in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Her own private garden contains herbs that are prepared in small batches in 100% Vodka in accordance with the Wise Woman Tradition, of making tinctures.
Wise Woman Tradition leader Susun Weed, says this concept draws from wisdom passed down for generations.
The approach to health resembles the practice of traditional healers in many cultures such as native American tribal cultures, and indigenous Indian cultures in South America, such as shamans, witches, and lay midwives.
It is a term and an teaching now used amongst many who practice herbalism, as well as midwifery and life counseling.

Crafted with organic macadamia oil, avocado oil, alkanet root, and lilac fragrance, Lilac Rouge is a tinted salve that can be used on cheeks and lips.
A dash of natural color, that nourishes and protects the skin.
Apply lightly to fingertips and blot onto skin until desired tint is reached, and reapply as necessary.

little thoughtful things are appreciated on this day...

Here are some Beauty items, that make great gifts or a little something nice for yourself!
;)

"eye've got my eye on you!" This Argan eye-shadow by Josie Maran is named "Valentine"
This shadow is perfect for anyone, and is just gorgeous!

Stories suggest that the history of sending cards or notes professing your love came from a prisoner named "Valentine"
The imprisoned Valentine, actually sent the first "valentine" greeting himself after he fell in love with a young girl
possibly his jailor's daughter
Who had visited him during his confinement.
Before his death, it is alleged that he wrote her a letter signed "From your Valentine," an expression that is still in use today.

While some believe that Valentine's Day is celebrated in the middle of February to commemorate the anniversary of Valentine's death or burial
which probably occurred around A.D. 270
others claim that the Christian church may have decided to place St. Valentine's feast day in the middle of February in an effort to "Christianize" the pagan celebration of Lupercalia.

Celebrated at the ides of February, or February 15, Lupercalia was a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.

To begin the festival, members of the Luperci, an order of Roman priests, would gather at a sacred cave where the infants Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome, were believed to have been cared for by a she-wolf or lupa.

Check out these traditions:
The priests would sacrifice a goat, for fertility, and a dog, for purification.
They would then strip the goat's hide into strips, dip them into the sacrificial blood and take to the streets, gently slapping both women and crop fields with the goat hide.
Far from being fearful, Roman women welcomed the touch of the hides because it was believed to make them more fertile in the coming year.
Later in the day, according to legend, all the young women in the city would place their names in a big urn.
The city's bachelors would each choose a name and become paired for the year with his chosen woman.
These matches often ended in marriage.

I can't believe woman were excited to be slapped with bloody goat hide...
We have come a long way with cards and candy!

Needless to say, according to numerology, ancient celebrations, Hallmark, and Godiva Chocolate...
Valentines Day is about spreading LOVE!

So, on that note:
